Mid and West Wales Independent Visiting Service – Service User

How can we help?

We offer Independent Visiting Services to children and young people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys.

What is an Independent Visitor?

An Independent Visitor is a friendly volunteer who spends time with you and gets to know you. They are someone you can trust, have fun with, and talk to.

They will usually meet with you once a month and be a consistent person in your life.

An Independent Visitor can:

  • spend time with you doing fun activities
  • listen to you and get to know you
  • be someone you can trust and talk to
  • support you to feel more confident
  • be a positive adult role model
