The TAtT is an exciting new service funded by Welsh Government’s Homelessness Prevention Grant which aims to make homelessness for looked after young people ‘rare, brief and non-recurring’ and to combat isolation and loneliness.

The service will provide young people with the skills, knowledge and support networks that they need to sustain a tenancy both now and in the future.

Cwm Taf Morgannwg Advocacy Service

We currently provide Independent Professional Advocacy Services to fifteen local authority areas in Wales. We are recruiting the following staff to join our newest Service in Cwm Taf Morgannwg:

Independent Professional Advocate

  • £23,866-£28,221
  • 18.5 hours per week
  • temporary to cover a period of secondment until 31/03/2020

Independent Professional Advocate (Casual)

  • £13.90 per hour
  • Casual hours

Candidates must have an interest in children’s rights and supporting children to have a voice. You will need to have experience of direct work with children and young people and experience of multi-agency working.

Travelling Ahead Project (Cardiff)

Support and Advice Worker x 2

  • £26,470 (pro rata)

One of our services, Travelling Ahead, provides advice, advocacy and support services to Gypsy, Roma and Traveller children, young people and families

We have recently been awarded funding to deliver an advice and support service for migrant Roma families to raise awareness of the EU Settlement Scheme and support people to apply for settled status.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right people to be part of developing and delivering this new service to migrant Roma communities across Wales.

If you are motivated, with experience of working with and the issues facing Roma families and are committed to supporting people to access their rights and entitlements this could be for you. Applications from the Roma community are particularly welcome.
