Support and Advice Worker - Travelling Ahead

Support and Advice Worker
£26,470 pro rata
1 x 30 hour post or 2 x 15 hour posts

One of our services, Travelling Ahead, provides advice, advocacy and support services to Gypsy, Roma and Traveller children, young people and families

We have recently been awarded funding to deliver an advice and support service for migrant Roma families to raise awareness of the EU Settlement Scheme and support people to apply for settled status.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right people to be part of developing and delivering this new service to migrant Roma communities across Wales.

If you are motivated, with experience of working with and the issues facing Roma families and are committed to supporting people to access their rights and entitlements this could be for you. Applications from the Roma community are particularly welcome.

Our Travelling Ahead project delivers a service supporting Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities (children, young people and adults) across Wales to access their rights, address inequalities and tackle discrimination. We are looking for suitably experienced people to join the team.
